IS YOUR FARM ALWAYS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC?
Tantallon Farm is our family home, so we are not always open to the public.

For times when we are - please refer to our social media accounts and to the times listed for a U-Pick event. If you have something special in mind for an occasion, you wish to use the farm as a backdrop for a photoshoot, or any other fun activates - please reach out to us so that we can try our best to accommodate you.
WHEN IS THE FARM OPEN FOR U-PICK EVENTS?
Our U-Pick is a seasonal event, which only starts from mid December and runs through January, February and March - every Saturday from 8am. There may be Friday evenings which are open too, just check our socials to keeep up to date with the latest happenings on our farm.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO THE U-PICK EVENT?
We strongly suggest you check the weather before you depart. You should bring a hat, sunscreen and comfortable shoes. If there is a light drizzle expected, gumboots are always a reasonable addition to any outfit.
If you have, bring your own scissors and a bucket to keep your flowers refreshed on your drive home. Don't worry if you don't have any - there are a limited number available on the day.
DO YOU SHIP FRESH FLOWERS?
Thank you for the interest in our flowers, however we do not ship our fresh flowers outside of our community, as we believe in the slow, sustainable flower movement - and trying to keep our flowers as carbon neutral as possible. All our other products, like seeds, aprons, tool belts and dried florals, we deliver nationwide.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
You are able to do electronic payments online through the farm store here on the website.
We accept cards and cash at the farm during events.

WILL MY ITEMS BE HELD IN MY CART?
Items are removed from inventory as purchases are completed, which is unfortunately beyond our control. Because of this, items in your cart will not be held. For the best shopping experience, we recommend having your list ready and checking out as soon as possible.
CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER?
Please contact us as soon as possible to let us know you want to change your order. Once an order is placed, it is printed immediately and then put into our order packing queue. Unfortunately, because of our small team and the volume of orders we are processing in a short time, we may be unable to combine separately placed orders or modify an order once it’s been placed without enough notice.
HOW FAR AWAY ARE YOU?
From Pietermaritzburg, we are a 37 mins away. From Piggly Wiggly, we are 16 mins away. We are close to most BnB's and Hotels located in the KZN Midlands, and have got neighbours with an incredible selection of food. We would recommend Fables (which is a 10 min drive down the road).
